Alright, I know how annoying these kind of posts are, but bear with me for a second. This is not just a picture of a kid in a hospital bed that says ‘you have no heart if you don’t reblog.’ you will ACTUALLY make a difference in the world by reblogging, or even just reading this post.
See the man in the picture above? His name is Joseph Kony. He lives in Uganda. You’ve probably never heard of him before; and that’s the big problem. Not enough people know of him. What he does is abducts children and forces them into doing horrible things. The boys fight in war, the girls become sex slaves. But this isn’t just a few kids. He has ruined the lives of 30,000 innocent children.
You’re probably horrified. Well, there are things you can do to help. The click through link leads to the website of the people who are trying to STOP him. There, you can make a donation, or watch their video documentary.
But, the most powerful thing that you can do to help is simply reblogging this; raising awareness. Even if this only gets 100 notes or so; that means 100 more people know that this is happening; that care enough to make a difference. Even if you delete this post from your blog after a few minutes; you will still remember him & recognize his name if you hear of him again. Even if you don’t reblog this; even just by reading this; you are still making a difference. It would be great if I could get this a decent amount of notes; because this story deserves to be heard.
